The Cottbus Velodrome has been a competition and training venue for 30 years. In addition to national and international competitions, it is also an important venue for popular sports. With a track length of 333.33 metres, a continuous track width of 7.50 metres and an angle of inclination of 41.89 degrees, it complies with internationally prescribed dimensions. A special plastic surface enables higher speeds. Excellent conditions for athletes, modern timing and photo finish systems, a video wall and a good view from the spectator stands make it possible to host top-class events here. And the BMX track, built in 2007, is currently being upgraded to an Olympic-standard training track following the Bundesliga and German Championships.
